The XL-MaxSonar-WR1 is our most popular weather resistant sensor designed for outdoor detection and ranging.The weather resistant XL-MaxSonar-WR is a rugged ultrasonic sensor component module. This outdoor sensor provides very short to long distance detection and ranging in a compact, robust PVC housing. The ultrasonic sensor meets the IP67 water intrusion standard and matches standard electrical 3/4 inch PVC pipe fittings.
These ultrasonic proximity sensors detect objects in a calibrated detection zone. The LV-ProxSonar-EZ sensors report when an object (such as a person) enters the detection zone. The target is released after leaving the LV-ProxSonar-EZ detection zone. The LV-ProxSonar-EZ0 has a detection zone of ~7 feet and will allow for 6+ simultaneous sensors.
The LV-MaxSonar-EZ4 is the narrowest beam width sensor that is also the least sensitive to side objects offered in the LV-MaxSonar-EZ sensor line. The LV-MaxSonar-EZ4 is an excellent choice when only larger objects need to be detected.
The XL-MaxSonar-EZ0 offers the widest and most sensitive beam pattern of any indoor sensor we currently offer. This makes the XL-MaxSonar-EZ0 an excellent choice wherever wide beam detection, reliable people detection, or reliable small obstacle detection are required.
The XL-MaxSonar-EZ4 has the highest noise tolerance and narrowest beam of any of our indoor sensors. The sensor is designed and calibrated to provide reliable range information to large targets even in environments with strong acoustic or electrical noise sources.
The HRUSB-MaxSonar-EZ0 has the widest and most sensitive beam pattern of any unit from HRUSB-MaxSonar-EZ sensor line. This makes the HRUSB-MaxSonar-EZ0 an excellent choice for use where high sensitivity, wide beam, or people detection is desired.
The industrial high resolution outdoor HRXL-MaxSonar-WR sensors have a robust PVC housing designed to meet IP67 water intrusion. The sensors provide short to long distance detection and ranging with a narrow beam pattern. The HRXL-MaxSonar-WR outdoor ultrasonic sensors have high power output, noise rejection, auto calibration, temperature compensation, and factory calibrated beam patterns.
